Last Christmas Freebie

Here is the last Christmas freebie kit I am posting this season. And a little update on my mental health, LOL. Since I quit digital designing, I enjoyed a few months of peace and quiet but it didn't last. Seems that I must always be *DOING* something so I picked up a new "hobby" of extreme coupon shopping. There are some really useful blogs and websites on the internet that post deals, sales, coupons, etc. You can even sometimes score deals that are "money makers" - where coupons/rebates/specials are worth more than what you pay for the product itself so you make a little money shopping. It can be a great adrenaline rush to get such good deals! But, I gotta tell you, it takes a LOT of time to work out the deals, handle the coupons and paperwork and do the shopping. And it's stressful to do it with little kids in tow. A few weeks ago, I began toying around with the idea of coming back to designing. AGAIN. I know, I can be SUCH a flake but I really am just trying to find my groove. I have an extreme need to be creative. And since I quit my Bipolar meds, I am on a hypomanic swing, which just makes it more and more pressing. I have been accepted at a nice consignment store and I will be loading my products back into that shop over the next few weeks. I chose a really low key store so that I can still manage when life gets a little overwhelming. In fact, I am already in possession of all my site contribution assignments for all of 2010 so I can get those done while I am feeling productive. If I continue to feel productive, I also have a spot reserved where I can sell all my stuff independently and will work on putting that store together too. My online buddie Hummie (from Hummie's world) has correctly identified me as an addict but I guess I'm OK with that. The trick for me is managing the "underbelly" of it all - record keeping, business management and staying the heck out the drama. So if you're new around here, I'm sure that's more than you want to know but there it is.

Here's today's freebie: links are below the preview.

thanks for the kit, Christine!

I don't have bipolar disorder, but I always have to be doing something too. I did the couponing thing for a while many years ago and couldn't keep up with it either. Scrapping is something I think I will be doing for a long, long time to come!
