Since I have not felt inspired to do a new kit, I thought it might be a good use of my designing skills to make a pretty cover for my prayer journal, just like my household notebook/planner. Both are in a three-ring binder with one of the see-through pockets on the cover where you can slip in your own paper to personalize it.
My prayer journal will have a major emphasis on praying for my kids. There are so many things that I am concerned about for my children but really cannot DO anything about. I'd say that's where God comes in but really He is at work in them all the time and it's good to get on board with what He desires for them.
I found some good resources online to print out and put in my binder.
40 Ways to Pray for Your Children
Power Packed Prayer
I go to a weekly Moms in Touch prayer group but need to be in much more constant contact with God than once a week. I hope that by building up my "lists" of requests before the Lord, I will learn to lean on Him more and see plenty of answers in my kids' lives.
So I have some goodies for you now! First, if you are motivated to have a three ring binder for your prayers, here is my cover that you can print and slide into the pocket. Special thanks to Julie Billingsley for allowing me to use her Cross My Heart download on this project. Everything else on this project is from my Gifts of the Magi kit.

Next, if you want something that will help you pray for your kids that doesn't need any writing or assembling, I also made a 30-day prayer calendar that you can print at 12x12 (or even 8x8) and hang up somewhere that you can see it. Special thanks to New Life Church for the content of the calendar.

I hope a few people are blessed by this!
