Blessings trump luck - any day of the year, even today: St. Patrick’s Day. Green things and the idea of luck are everywhere today except at our Moms in Touch meeting, where we prayed about BLESSINGS. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) Having every spiritual blessing sounds a whole lot better than blind luck, especially when the blessings come from the creator of the universe who knows us, our past, present and future and who orchestrates the good things he gives us in his perfect timing and provision. We are blessed in so many ways - a beautiful family, good health, a place to live, things to eat, work to keep us busy, good friends, a place to worship, talents to serve Him and so much more. Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered (Romans 4:7)
