OK, today’s idea is simple but can be executed in a jillion ways. Here’s the simple idea: use ribbon, anywhere in your layouts, in ways that I have already shown you as a base for an alpha. So wherever you’ve already placed a ribbon, put an alpha on top. I’ve prepared a few visuals for you but since the possibilities are so great when you come alphas and ribbons, this is obviously just a springboard to get your ideas flowing!
I used the following alphas in these examples (some recolored) Fee Jardine, Cherry Snap; Linda GB, Fleur de Rouge; Designs by Sarah, Grassy Alpha; Carrie Bombria Scrappy Alpha; Sarah Design Cardboard Alpha
Your alphas can be words, monograms, numbers, even symbols (brackets maybe?) You can add emphasis and flow to your pages. You can use the alphas as a contrast or a coordinate to your perfectly colored ribbons. You can really go nuts!
Thanks for reading and shopping with me.
