No More Printing?

I posted this at digishoptalk.com also but I'm interested in as much input as I can get before I make a big decision. Here's what I posted at DST - any replies/input in the comments here would be GREATLY appreciated!

I've been scrapping for 17 years. For 12 years, it was paper scrapping and now 5 years of digi. I've always printed my digi LOs but I am thinking about not doing that anymore. It's kind of expensive and I honestly don't have room for ANY more books, LOL. Plus, the ones I printed in 2006 don't even look that good anymore. I had what WAS a good printer then but technology keeps advancing as we all know. So I'm thinking about just keeping digital copies of everything (with 2 backups!! I've just had a hard drive crash AND a problem with one backup). I think it would be cool to and make annual or semi-annual DVDs. I sort of envision my family being able to look at our "albums" on TV rather than everyone trying to crowd around a book (we have 6 kids) and I also think about having my ENTIRE page collection on an EHD where it is tagged by date, event and people. Doesn't that sound cool????

So, if you never print pages and do cool stuff with your LOs (something on DVD where it has cool page transitions or something like that) can you please tell me what you do/what you use and what you like or don't like about it? One big plus for me is that one of my dd's would LOVE to do the DVDs if I just show her what to use.
