I’ve been working like crazy on an exciting new venture so my blogging has been a little slow lately. When I get going on something, I tend to get into it full-force and neglect other things. Can any other creative types relate to this? Or am I the only one who burns dinner during a creative streak?
My biggest news is that I am opening my own store on February 1. I have been working on a brand new product line that will debut in the store and will be giving away a free, full digital scrapbook kit with purchase all through the month of February. Please take a moment right now to make sure you are subscribed to my blog, Facebook page or Twitter account so you don’t miss out!
Next, I’ve been trying to recover from a hard drive crash and backup system snafu and had to figure out which digital scrapbook pages I’d lost. In the process, I scrapped a few new pages and out of that came a new kit that I made to scrap our kids involvement with school music (band, choir and orchestra). So may I present my new release, Rhapsody?

There’s a coordinating alpha that looks like this:

and here is the first page I made with it.

I also made this and made a non-music black ribbon with my Instant Ribbon Templates.

Here are the details:
16 12x12 papers
blue silk flower
12" music staff border
bracket mat
wooden button
blue button
chipboard instruments: guitar, violin, ukulele
music clef ribbon
2 curled music clef ribbons
equalizer accent
iron eyelet
chipboard flat, sharp and notes
fret chart accent
iron horn and saxophone
iron treble clef and bass clef
12" square page border
note ribbon
2 curled note ribbons
sound output accent
photo turn
music player chipboard buttons: play and volume
rolled paper flower
string
tan silk flower
tan distressed frame
iron frame
So pick up this kit if you or someone you scrapbook is into music at home, school or work. There’s lots in it to work with and I kept the color scheme classic. Where we live, all the kids where black and white for their performances and the kit work especially well for that.
And I’ve put it on special for one week only – Just $3.59 or the kit and $0.99 for the alpha. Shop with me here:

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for the store announcement, February card challenge and blog train on Feb. 1.
