Digital Scrapbook Layouts

Our phone and internet went out for the second time this week so I got a few more photos scrapped.  Here’s what I made this weekend:

Minnehaha-Creek

Journaling: Ever since we went to the North Shore and played at Gooseberry Falls, the kids have wanted to go back and do that.  Minnehaha Creek is the closest thing we have around here so we went and played there several times this summer.  Earlier in the year after a really wet spring, the water was really rushing. Lauren lost her shoe and got carried away downstream.  It was pretty harrowing. Someone actually found the shoe and carried it back upstream and returned it! Later in the year, the kids would enjoy building rock dams and floating downstream across the small rapids. 8/2011

Como-Conservatory-Fountain

Journaling -

One of our favorite places at the Conservatory and one that has been there since I was
a kid. This fountain sits at the center of the glassed, domed building. It’s one of the few
places left here where you can throw pennies in and make wishes. August 2011
